Welcome to the website of St Hilary’s Church, Wallasey. We are delighted you want to find out more about one of the most beautiful and historic places of worship in Merseyside. As an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, we offer you a place of sanctuary, prayer, worship and celebration - as well as a feast of music, events and amazing architecture. The present church, apart from the separate medieval tower, dates from 1858/9 - but the site itself has been used for worship since Saxon times. Both buildings are Grade II listed and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The best way to experience St Hilary’s Church is to visit. We can’t wait to meet you.
